Our Partners
Asikhuleni Farm
Situated in the Hope Fountain area, approximately 16kms from Bulawayo City Centre, which falls under Bulawayo CBD.

An 100% organic farm, started in 2019. The farm started growing citrus saplings for Beitbridge Citrus farmers. We have since branched out into growing Fig/Cherry trees and Fish farming (Tilapia), with 40 growing ponds and 4 dams. This is supported by our pig division, with which our circuit is completed in getting nutrient-rich water for hydroponics and general irrigation for our fields.

What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant, also known as cannabis or hemp.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, a cousin of marijuana.
CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant and then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut oil or hemp seed oil. CBD can be found in a variety of products online and in stores, including dietary supplements, bath soaks, drinks, and food.
One of hundreds of components in marijuana, CBD does not cause a "high" by itself. According to a report from the World Health Organization, "In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD."

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, which means it causes the sensation of getting high that’s often associated with cannabis. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.
This quality makes CBD an appealing option for those who are looking for relief from pain and other symptoms without the mind-altering effects of cannabis or other side effects related to some pharmaceutical drugs.

CBD continues to gain momentum in the health and wellness world, with some scientific studies finding that it may ease symptoms of conditions such as (epilepsy). CBD is also used for anxiety, pain, a muscle disorder called dystonia, Parkinson disease, Crohn disease, and many other conditions.

Our commitment to eco-friendly production & sustainability
In 2021 The Pharma Hemp Co. gave us the opportunity to grow Hemp/Cannabis. We received the first hectare of seed, and we successfully germinated them in our temperature-controlled germination rooms, which have the capacity to germinate 4 hectares at a time. The plants were put into stage 1 (nursery greenhouses) for 2 weeks, then into hardening houses for 3 weeks, then planted into the fields. The plants are supported by weekly fertigation and foliage sprays, with the added benefit of nutrient-rich dam water, coming from the fish/pigs and virgin spoils.
Drying facilities have been built to accommodate the final processing of Hemp/Cannabis and a further 2 hydroponic greenhouses are being erected for the cloning of various Hemp/Cannabis/THC varieties.

From the initial trials on the current fields of Hemp/Cannabis, it is our opinion that to achieve 20T of packaged product monthly, we would need to grow 70 hectares of Hemp/ Cannabis twice a year. This is from germination to burping and packaging. We are currently extending the farm by a further 40 hectares on the adjoining farm. This process is in the late stages, with mapping and sub-division being lodged at the city council. This process should be finalised within the next few weeks.
